Recipe Ideas

Dan the Dirtman McFarlane of Kelowna British Columbia's Rock / Country radio station Power 104 / B-103 has this to say and suggest for the Chorizo:

"I've got it (Chorizo) at my desk and treat myself every few days to a snack in my coffee cup. Great as is. I add a few drops of a favorite hot sauce to kick it up a notch ... just a few drops mind you, not to over pwer the great flavor: A sprinkling of grated cheese and dollop of sour cream is an added bonus. I'm thinkng that it would be an easy filling for an enchilada or soft taco shell.

Kirby from Vancouver British Columbia sprinkles the dry  Chorizo flakes on top of her salads. "Better than bacon bits!!"

Other ideas you have shared for the Chorizo:

      1. hydrate, chill, then  mix with mashed avocado. "It makes a great dip or spread."

      2. use to compliment spaghetti, chili, scrambled eggs

Rachel from USA - Black Bean with Chipotle served with spanish chopped onions and crushed garlic cloves and "green" sour cream topping: 2 ripe avacado, cup sour cream, handful of parsley / cilantro, squeeze of lime juice (mix all in food processor). Pour Black Bean with Chipotle inot a bowl and add the Green Sour Cream Topping! " It's nutrious, simple, easy and tastes great"

Paula of Whole Being Yoga, in Richmond British Columbia has found a use for the Green Pea Flakes: "I just sprinkle it into my cous cous. It's yummy."
